Another variant of the popular Huawei E5573 pockety WiFi modem is the Huawei E5573Cs-609 which is popular in many Countries around the globe now. The Huawei E5573Cs-609 is current available in India by Airtel carrier, and equally in Kenya, and other Countries. The router is 4G enabled and can support up to 10-15 devices. We recently had a request from some of our visitors who requested an unlocking guide for this model. So in this tutorial, we will be discussing the unlocking procedure for this particular router.

Unlocking requirements
To unlock this model of Huawei, we will proceed using the pin boot method and the following will come in handy;
- A USB cable
- A tweezer or any other metallic object that can help for boot shorting.
- A Computer of course is rerquired
- Huawei E5573Cs drivers
- Unlocking firmwares
- Balong USB Loader
- DC unlocker client
Unlocking procedure
After you must have all the above mentioned requirements, proceed with the unlocking as thus;
- Download the unlocking files from below and extract. Unlocking files contain: Unlocking firmwares and steps to follow, DC Unlocker and codes for IMEI repair, drivers,
- Unscrew your Huawei E5573Cs-609 pocket WiFi and reinsert battery. Do no power it on.
- Perform a boot short as indicated in the screen capture below and when you get a sound coming from your computer which is an indication of a USB COM port detection, open Balong USB Loader and click on "detect" to detect the com port.
- Once the com port detected, proceed and load the Huawei E5573Cs bin file(usbloader) by clicking on the "three dots" button then navigating to the location of the extracted unlocking files.
- After loading the usbloader bin file, hit the "load" button to begin flashing. Once completed, the green LED will turn own and keep glowing as shown below
- At this point, without disconnecting the modem, perform a firmware downgrade(indicated in unlocking files pack)
- After this, proceed still without disconnecting to the next firmware(update) and install. The browser will automatically open but will but will display nothing owing to the lack of the WEBUI.
- Run webui update dashboard and install. The modem will now be unlocked. In the webui folder, there are three different ones. Install the one you like, be it the defaul Airtel WEBUI or Huawei default webui.
- After the unlocking, the IMEI number will become 000000000000000. You will have to repair it. Get your device IMEI number form behing and use the DC Unlocker tool to restore it. Codes for IMEI and serail number restoration are also in the file provided below.
