Requirements for the unlocking
To unlock your Huawei E5573s-320 router, you will need to have all the following set before commencing with the unlocking process.
- Firmware files for updating
- Bin files for Huawei E5573 routers(usbloader and usbsafe)
- Balong
- Screw driver
- Any metallic object that can serve for short circuiting
- A USB cable
- A Computer
Unlocking procedure.
Please make sure you follow this guide and apply it correctly. This method has been tested on different Huawei E5573s-320 routers and the results were all positive.
Now let us head to the unlocking procedures:
- First start by unscrewing the router using the screw driver.
- Next, remove the upper cover(were you have the indicator lights)
- Download all required files from the download links provided below. That is; the bin files for Huawei E5573(two bin files), firmware files(Firmware update file and WebUI), Balong usb downloader.
- Extract all files, launch Balong usb downloader.
- After you have gathered all required files and unscrew your modem, and have launched Balong usb downloader, proceed to the 'boot shorting' . Connect the two points indicated in the picture below in your MiFi router.
- After the boot shorting, connect the modem to your Computer via usb. You should get a sound when you connect mosem to pc. The modem should equally start installing drivers. Next proceed to the device manager to check com port.
- Next in Balong usb downloader, click on Detect to detect the com port of your router, amd select the correct com port from the dropdown menu(indicated above).
- Next proced to loading the first bin file;-usbloader. To achieve this, click on the three dots adjacent to the load tab then navigate to the saved location and select the usbloader.bin file. Load the bin to erase the current firmware in the router.
- After loading and flashing first bin files, proceed with the firmware updating. Extract the E5573_Update_21.180.17.00.00 file and run it. This process is simple. All you will need is follow the instructions on the dashboard. Once update is completed, the indicator lights should turn on. Disconnect and perform a second boot shoot.
- Next flash the second bin file following the same procedure as the first(second boot shoot). At this point the bin file you are flashing is the usbsafe bin file.
- After this you will need to flash the second firmware(WubUI) .
- Now after this, after a couple of seconds, the LED light of the network signal should turn red if you had no sim card inserted, and it should start installing drivers. Your modem has now been unlocked!
- Once the unlocking process is completed, your router will connect and automatically open your default web browser.
