Step-by-step guide for the unlocking process

• Start by downloading and installing drivers for you ZTE M028T L02C  4G modem.
•  After installing drivers, proceed to hardware verification. To do this, connect your modem to your pc via USB then;

•   Enter the IP in the address bar 192.168.1.1
•   Login using;

                           username: admin

                            password: admin

•  Under "software information", verify the hardware version of your Vodafone m028t.

This is to ensure that your modem hardware version is the L02C variant of the ZTE M028T modem.

TO START THE UNLOCKING PROPER, SET THE DATE OF YOUR PC TO 27 APRIL 2017

•  After modifying the date, install firefox version 50.0.1.

⚠️ Make sure to uninstall any previous version which is not the above if installed.

• Next, go to the local disc C:\ and locate the default cookies folder of the newly installed firefox 50.0.1. Yow will find it in this path:

 C:\Users\ mobiPROX\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

... then delete the content of the default folder under profile.

Note that the AppData folder will only become visible when u have activated to show hidden folders

• Now extract and copy, then paste the cookies files for unlocking in the path profile\...default.
• After the above, insert a sim from another carrier in your Vodafone 4G M028T L02C ZTE.
•  Connect via USB to your pc and launch the installed firefox 50.0.1.
•  Now input the IP http://192.168.1.1/ in the address bar.

ℹ️ The modem will now open a new interface;- SMART BRO

ℹ️ Login using "admin" as username and password

ℹ️ After logging in you will see the below interface. Click on REQUIRED

♻️ Enter then 123456 as  "ph-Net pin" and confirm.

♻️ Wait for a couple of time for the unlocking to complete.

♻️ Once done, you should now see the network name on the screen of your modem.
